Any one seen or looked into this film? It's about Big-game hunting and wildlife conservation in Africa it looks to be an interesting film at least I'm curious to see what the over all view/point the film takes. I watched the interview with the two producers on CNN and it sounds like they come from both side one went in anti-hunting and one came from a pro-hunting background. At least every thing I have watch so far looks like they take a fair look at all sides of the issue we will have to wait and see. What do you all think will about this? Phillip Glass is active on another forum. He deserves respect for putting himself out there. I haven't seen it yet but plan on watching.

Just no way these animal rights groups could get enough money to help stop just the poaching. Hunting is conservation.

They did cover the fact that one bid hunt was 350,000.00. They also told of where the money went. That was good.

The rumor is it's rather balanced

I find that hard to believe. That would take some serious objectiveness. That is something that CNN doesn't lack, it's something that doesn't exist at CNN.

Even when that Cecil was shot the people tracking it said without trophy hunting the game would be gone, eaten and replaced by livestock. The guy said, "if it pays it stays" I would say the game reserves do more for wildlife then the governments ever did.

CNN didn’t make the film they just bought the rights.

There’s a podcast called The Rhino Hunter that follows a guy who went on a rhino hunt and they talk a lot about the conservation aspect.

How could you ever form an opinion since you refuse to watch, or even consider an objective approach?

I will be watching CNN tonite for the first time in a long time. Phillip lives a few miles from us and I have known him and his family for years. You wouldn't believe the threats him and his family have received over this. I am proud of him for doing what he has done! He said it should air about 8:45 central time tonite.
