I bought one for my WBY300Win Mag n tryed it last night, the dag blasted thing jammed in the detonation chamber! Now I gotta take it to the gunsmith to have it extracted.Good thing I tryed it empty cuz I can only imagine the difficulty removing it with a round in it.I bought it to use on my Coyote/fox sets and had it chambered down to a 32ACP.So I sent the manufactuer'r an email and he replyed to drive a 5/16" tap into it and POUND IT OUT! This rifles brand new! Any how he says send the casing and a spent round casing and he'll make it good. "Yeah what about the gunsmiths bill!" Anyhow it came from MCA SPORTS/ACE BULLET CO. IN ANCORAGE AK. and I just wanted to give you guys n gals a heads up so you dont run into the same dilemma. KIN U SKIN GRIZZ?

There are much better way to dispatch than run a .312 bullet down a good 30cal gun.

It seemed to be a economical advantage. Coyotes can be tough to take out with a manual dispatching tool. Particularly the big ones we have here in PA. What 32ACP isnt the same diameter?

Your new Weatherby has a bore of .308, where as the ACP IS .312.
Thjey will go down the barrel, but not something i'd do to my new gun.

Find yourself a beater .22 and your better off. I bought one that was all rusted up for 5 bucks years ago from a farmer.

You said the reducer is empty. Take a good coated cleaning rod without the brush or patch tip on it. Insert it in the muzzle of your rifle, lower it down till it contacts the inside of the reducer raise the rod a half inch or so and drop it into the reducer. You don't need to beat on it. If it's stuck bad use a good penetrating oil. Stand the rifle muzzle down and put a few drops where the reducer meets the end of the chamber.
If I had to guess, maybe the reducer is a 300wby and the rifle is a 300win. The

If the rod goes through the reducer then yes a tap in the rear of the reducer will give the cleaning rod something to bump against. I have never trusted or used one of the reducers. To many better options. Even a good stout stick.

You need to buy you a beater .270 and learn to "bark" those coyotes. That's how it's done in Northern Minnesota and I'd bet those coyotes are as big as yours. A .300 WBY is overkill.

If you used cast bullet in the gun you will have to slug the bore and see what it come to and go from there. to see if you could use 32ACP. Normally you could get away with .310 or .311 depends on the barrel. If it is micro you could go with .312 sometime, depend on what the slug reading is.
