Zander had a buyer there and he probably bought around half the fur there. Zander will also have a buyer at Jeffersonville. Harry and his son usually attend the kidron sale. I doubt much of the fur he acquired goes to FHA and nafa

Keith I hope that wasn't put up fur. Come to the deep south and trap and won't be long you could write a book on 25 cent coons.

I would assume the buyers of this fur will eventually have this fur either in some nafa auction or fur harvesters auction. Am I right? Not necessarily. I am quite sure that Zander has direct contact with manufacturers and thus doesn't go though the auction houses. There are also buyers that will dress the goods they buy and then sell on the craft/tourist market. And, yes, some of the hoods will end up at NAFA or FHA. But not all of it.

I would assume the buyers of this fur will eventually have this fur either in some nafa auction or fur harvesters auction. Am I right? Neither NAFA or Fur Harvesters are end users of any fur. Knowledgeable skin dealers, that can grade properly, and have the ambition and ability to find they're own end users can get more than they would get at either of the Canadian auction houses.

The average price on coyotes seems a little disappointing. The average at FHA seemed a lot higher. Maybe there was a lot of poor examples of OH coyotes take to this sale. Still a $29 high doesn't seem very favorable.
