Trappers in Idaho Falls area. Any recommendations for a taxidermist that does tanning.

Why do you want a taxidermist that does tanning?

You can send your pelts to a commercial tannery yourself and save the middle man fees a taxidermist will charge.

Moyles is only a couple of hours west of you. You could take a road trip and drop off the pelts right at their door.

I would rather have my taxidermist handle my hides then have to deal with them myself.
And If the taxidermist dose his own tanning I would bet he's doing a better job handling the pelts or skins then some commercial tannery who just tosses your skins with 500 other skins.

Moyles did a fine job on the beaver I sent them. No fuss, easy to deal with. You ship them the hides with a completed order form. When the tanning is done they contact you, you pay them, and they send you the fur. Cost to tan was very reasonable, shipping was ridiculous.
