You can send your pelts to a commercial tannery yourself and save the middle man fees a taxidermist will charge. Moyles is only a couple of hours west of you. And If the taxidermist dose his own tanning I would bet he's doing a better job handling the pelts or skins then some commercial tannery who just tosses your skins with 500 other skins. EdP trapper E Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 3,869 meadowview, Virginia	Moyles did a fine job on the beaver I sent them. No fuss, easy to deal with. You ship them the hides with a completed order form. When the tanning is done they contact you, you pay them, and they send you the fur. Cost to tan was very reasonable, shipping was ridiculous. Last edited by EdP; 01/13/18 06:21 PM.
