mcfunnyfarm OP trapper M Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 5 Oklahoma	Just started collecting old traps, my wife found this at the flea market. I've ordered a couple books on antique traps but haven't gotten them yet. Could somebody please help with info. Only 1 stamp JWATKINS on spring. thanks

Okiecntry trapper Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 1,813 East OK & West AR	I have no personal knowledge of them but based on looking in the book: John Watkins 1843-63, Hand forged traps, various sizes $150 to $500 I don't know what his normal size traps were but that is a pretty large trap so my guess would be toward the upper end. Maybe someone on here is a collector or has personal experience with them.
