A matrix gland lure might work best during mating season. Dunlap sells one.

During mating season is the best, there really isn’t any bad time to use it. It’s the same as every time a dog sees another dog they smell eachother. Coyotes are curious and want to see what other coyotes are in the area.

I find a good gland lure is good anytime, but this time of year they work very good. I place mine on the outside blocking. And when it's time too reapply use coyote urine and then the next time after that back to gland lure.

Mole, are you fur or ADC trapping? If ADC trapping, you could get down to the nitty gritty of targeting specific sex and age yoteramas.
