Got my 13 th coyote since new years day today.all in cable restraints.he was chewing cable hard when i pulled up but didn't break any cable big male, but he did have a little mange.
Been seeing where a pair of reds have been crossing the road to the beaver swamp so i slid in a couple days ago and set a couple cable restraints and caught the big male red and missed his partner by inches.thats 17 fox in the cable restraints in the last 2 1/2 weeks.having a ball with the cables and now we're getting a thaw so i'll stick with the cables but i'm definitely gonna get some more steel in the ground.

Our numbers are coming back up here and have been seeing alot of greys the last few years.just wish i had more time to trap but work schedule doesn't allow that much.i've only been running 8-10 cable restraints at any one given time and a hand full of footholds. Hope to retire in 5-7 years then will go alot harder like i used to.can't wait.lol
