I discovered this guy (youtube) awhile back. He raises Mink from only a few weeks old to adult hunting machines.

I am posting this info, simply because he does a great job explaining (and filming) Mink and their natural instinct to hunt. Lots of footage of his Mink hunting and fishing, and "working" the banks of streams.

Thought it might be useful to those guys after Mink as you can get a good feel for this amazing creature.

Bfisch,

I don't know if he is on here or not. I only a week ago got back on here myself after about 5 years or so of being gone. Seems I've missed a lot, but glad to see our tradition alive and well.

I do know that I have learned much about Mink behaviour from his videos. It's something to see his mink (plural) catch trout and kill muskrats, and then cache those catches into a box. I've also learned about the mink's social system in the wild from watching.
