Once upon a time we had a brother named Savell. Now some say Savell could slap tame some critters, others say he was just a fictional southeastern Texas hero, but let me tell you what I know about Savell and his excursions.

First I’ll post these pics of this leopard he wrangled while he was in the jungle...




Now this second pic might look like ordinary critters, but Savell does nothing ordinary, so maybe he will have a story to tell to help liven this post up instead of me.

I'm excited let's hear the story about that jungle cat. These are the things I dream about at night...

.....I've been trapping the jungle just outside of an east tx river bottom town. I've caught 5 cats in the past 3 days....but the one in the pic I'm sure had been feeding on the locals down at the crispy chicken....I'm sure to be a folk hero in this corner of the county now!

I expected more of a back story .

...here's the back story les....I find where cats crap down logging roads , set traps, and sometimes they get caught....now I did almost get stuck and stranded today by being a dummass....that's a decent story to tell if y'all care to hear lol

Here's the dumbarse almost stranded story.....

.....I rode the Toyota Tacoma down to an old log landing/intersection where I had made a couple of sets yesterday.....I remembered that big wash out to left at the exact same time my face hit the steering wheel from driving off into it lol

...had just enough chain, cable, strap, snuff, and come-along to get out alive lol

So driving into a pothole was the excitement of the day,lol.

The way I remember the story was something like playing see saw on the edge of a bluff tied to east Texas shrub trying to decide while standing on the bumper to keep from falling in, if you should climb in and save the lone star in the back.

......boco ...go schelack your snowshoes or something .....maybe watch a round of curling or some such crap lol

...touch and go for a minute or two my friend....Thelma and Louise like moment lol

. ....thank the lord for pine trees with deep tap roots
