Does anyone know how to get rust stains out of fur? I know ducks will get it and taxidermists can get it out. I decided to try and do my first skunks this year. I was told if you put them in moving water for a couple days it will take the smell out. I tied them up with bailing wire and needless to say some of the white hair got a rust ring around it.

Never had that problem. But I would think that any household stain remover may work for you.
If you have some borax you might try to rub that on the effected area.
