I sold this guy some stuff TWO years ago and neither one of us were sure what it was worth but we agreed on a price. He told me that if he got more for it than what he thought he would send more money. Yeah.....well he did! After 2 years! Men like that are DANG hard to find. I just wanted to take a moment and publicly thank him for that.

Jim is as nice a guy you ever would want to meet. He has a little bit of an ornery side to him also.

Several years ago at a joint PTA and FTA trappers meet in Pennsylvania a group of mink trappers got together and went out on a few of the streams that Nittany Lion traps. I was there as was Nittany Lion, Minker, Mark Basinger, and Steve Gappa. I may be forgetting someone else but I'm not sure. At one location there was an electric fence. Gappa asked Nittany Lion if he knew if the fence was on. Jim replied that it is never on. Gappa grabbed hold of the fence so that he could step over it. He got lit up like a Christmas tree. He screamed a few choice words and glared at Jim while the rest of us busted a gut laughing. Gappa said, "I thought you said it was never on!!!!!" Jim just smiled and said, "Well, it usually isn't on!!!"

I still laugh when I think about this and the twinkle that was in Jim's eye when Gappa got lit up.

Iam not surprised....from my experience....but never met the man.
