I have been trapping well over 50 yrs and probably caught a couple thousand but today I caught my biggest onet.Until now the biggest I had ever weighed was 78 or 79 lbs. I saw this one partially submerged next to my drowning rod but didn’t think much of it,I was taking about a 60 lpounder out of a 330.When I got to the dam break set,,I just pulled in tbar,rod and all and I knew it was huge.I had a heck of a time puttin it in the back of my Polaris ranger and it dwarfed the other,large beaver. When I got home I had to weight it. 96 Lbs. ,!!!,The scales are accurate,I check them each yr before deer season because a few people wanna weigh their deer on my scales. I couldn’t post pics but sent some to Paul and he’s gonna post em.

Without the ranger I wouldn’t have known how much it weighed cause I would have skint it right there,got the castors and the tip of its tail for the bounty and been gone.

No,sell the hide green,The castors,,I will get a 20.00 bounty on the tail and the landowner is paying me to catch em.

7 inches wide
