mines a 19-3,but it say's 357 magnum on the right side of the barrel.

Yes,it's the same diameter bore.As long as there are no other issues it should be fine but having a gunsmith inspect it is a good idea.

My 19-5 is a .357, marked on right side of the bbl.

Shoot it. Keep in mind that k frame Smiths were meant to be used sparingly with the .357 ammo. They don't hold up as well as the N frame or L frame.
Back when Bill Jordan was pestering S&W to make the Combat Magnum, he said"put that shroud on the ejector rod-a bad guy might bump his head on it and bend it" laugh This gun became what we know as the model 19.
