Not all 1600 bobcats were on Saturday sale, many were on today's sale. Seems there is a big gap in cats though and only the biggest and best are in demand. Hopefully today's prices will help the average. Today's sale results should be posted tonight....maybe late tonight.

I'm guessing that's an average per lot. I could only see two lots of castor on the sale results, no weights given. But I'd LOVE to be wrong!!!

Bit disappointed here too. Had a fur buyer offer us $300/cat just after Christmas. Should have taken it. We managed $20 above the Nephi average on 12 cats, Still it turned out to be a $600 mistake. Live and learn I guess. Coyotes, for what we had were okay.

It’s definitely a buyers market this year. This winter has been abnormally warm and dry around here. Our snow pack this year is 30% of normal. I think that’s resulted in higher harvest. Especially since the winter before was one of the wettest on record and resulted in lower trapping success.

I did not surrender either, but my horse did, I think he is pulling a wagon in Missouri.
