The Utah sale system is pretty slick. The only thing that slows it down is everyone coming at once. Even then I only had to wait about 20 mins to check in and then 15 to get my fur on the floor. I give them credit for all they do and it's a lot to put on. Their old system, by hand or whatever took forever for results. I feel spoiled to get it so early now. How does CO's work?

Colorado sale is an open auction. A bit different than the sealed bid auctions.

2 days to check in fur

1.5 to 2 days for buyer inspection

2 days of live auction selling

A lot of sellers aren't even there when their fur sells.

If you show up with your fur we can have you in and out in 15-30 minutes, less is you have your fur lotted already.

Same basic principal, walk in put it on the table start paper work, lot fur, nose tag and put on hangers, put on the rack and move on.

The average sell list has been updated with the number of pelts sold.

The number of pelts sold is helpful.

Castor price still needs some work, smile

I was impressed with the volunteers at the sale. Some we're younger kids but they worked hard to get all the furs tagged and on the floor. Good kids to volunteer their time.

If we want trapping to carry on we better get our youngster to get involved.
Good on you guys to get and keep them excited about the fur industry.

The UTA officers and volunteers put in a lot of hard work and long hours and pulled off another excellent sale. Thanks to all of you!
