Maybe it's me but I haven't seen any Olympic medal ceremonies in full.

I've watched 3 medal competitions 2 of which were half pipe. Last night they didn't show the podium, the night before they showed the sliver and bronze on the podium and the USA womens half pipe winner off the podium waiting to getthe medal then went to something else. Last night they didn't show the podium at all.

I really hope it's just me and not NBC.

Have to watch closer I guess.
They sure have a lot of skating on though. I can't stand that.

Not sure but they have a flower ceremony then later have the metal ceremony that night, later then I stay up you were not seeing the flower ceremony were you?

It is confusing for sure I seen them milling around and then they said the metals ceremony was later that night but they do the flower ceremony a bit after the events.

They have a ceremony right after the event and then the actual medal ceremony occurs later at the "Medals Plaza". They are using white tiger stuffed animals instead of flowers in PyeongChang at the post event ceremony. I read that the summer olympics and winter olympics are different. During the summer games, the medals are handed out after each event. There are too many events during the summer games to have a nightly medals ceremony.

The only thing that I have not be able to stand thus far is the seemingly good and positive coverage NBC has provided to North Korea....but that is a different subject for a different day.

On a lighter note.....Those snowboarders and skiers are plain crazy.

I believe that NBC is intentionally not showing the medal ceremony due to the National Anthem and Flag Protest movement. In prior Olympics the medal award ceremony and Anthem have been shown multiple times in the same day.

There is also a liberal push for a one world government and National pride does not fit into that agenda either.

I searched and found the first gold had his ceremony air at 5am eastern.
I just looked at the schedule and don't see it being aired.

They have shown the anthem ceremony for the young boy in half pipe, the Korean American girl, and the other young lady who won gold in skiing I think it was.

I didn't see them do that. I watched and they cut to something else each time. For Kim they had her off the podium and the others and noticed right before she stood on the podium they switched to reporter to end the program

I think they did away with wrestling to make people watch guys in tight pants and pretty blouses. I dont watch any of it.
