10 bucks for coyote or beaver, or a cat or an otter. Fox and coon or rats and mink are so easy that if you cant put them up , you should get out of the business.

Quite true, but when I got 20 - 30 'coon a year it was no problem to put them up. It was a different story when I got that many per day. For me it was better to spend my time trapping not skinning & scraping.

carcass to completely finished- Coon $3.50, Coyote, bobcat, fox, otter, badger= $5. At those prices, I would never let another critter hit the floor of my fur shed. On the other hand, I could farm out my fur handling business to TurkeyTime, do nothing but receive carcass critters and make the same amount. When I was finishing fur, my prices were almost exacty 2X these prices for the critters in question.

Keck, you charge $7 for a coon? Yikes. I pay $1.25 for fleshing, I skin them and board them, all this happens in my building. No, I was getting $5 finished, but I'd still make a buck fifty apiece if I had Mr. Turkey finishing for me!
