Don't know if they did it in the past , or are currently doing it, but what is the deal with Remington supposedly using cheap $15 to $20.00 Barrels made in CHINA on their Rifles ? Specifically the Model 700 rifles. Is that true, or just a rumor?

Haven't heard this before now or know if there is any truth to this, but in recent years their QC is so poor that I wouldn't buy a Remington anything.

Do a little Googling around on the subject and you'll find that if anything they may have had some 870 shotgun barrels made there; maybe.

They are changing their name to wemington.

I have one that was recalled with the trigger problem. Did you get yours fixed through recall?

the Pardner pump is a metric copy of the 870 express , the mag tube is longer by 1 round , but if you put an 870 barrel on a pardner pump you can make a spacer or buy a spacer to make the nut still fit on and hold the barrel tight.

but to keep you from putting less expensive pardner pump barrels on you would have to make a new mag tube

1 1/2 inches at 200 yards is 3/4 inch at 100 yards. Why are you dissappointed?
