how many shells did he stuff in there. None. They're hard as rocks. These are what I call calcified castors. The insides are hard, chalky and usually have an orange tint. I don't see these very often, but they're not all that uncommon. Sometimes it's only one side that is like this. I have no idea what causes it. are they still good to use in lure formulation when they are like that?

Trapstickman has seen a lot of castors in his time but never anything close to being that impressive. He will keep looking. Did trapstickman start up a travelling beaver prostate exam business??

83 degrees yesterday, 7 beaver & a swamp 1/2 mile from the truck. This picture is not something my back is loving this morning! Hey Boss, did you name it Backbreaker for what it does to the beaver or us?

Think ive only caught 3 beaver that had those, sometimes it's not a large beaver with them either.
I hear ya Harley on that 83 degree crap, had me dragging yesterday as well, course this head cold isn't helping either.
