These posts are are too early in the game. Left hoping to turn us on Trump.
1-Trump can't EO this. 2-The ATF can't make this law.
Congress has to write the law and pass it. I'm hoping this is just lip-service to weather the storm the left is bringing apon us. News flash...Trump is the left...He's a New York City Democrat, Clinton cohort. Edit: this is the time for Trump to show what side he really is on. He really is a reformed Dem or he just bamboozled a whole lot of folks.

If you look at this from the perspective of curtailing a different right to protect people, things get stupid real quick...
People are quick to point out that your rights aren't limitless. The old adage about yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater comes up...
Interestingly enough, there have been instances where someone yelled and caused a panic stampede in a public venue... And in those cases the person(s) responsible were held responsible for their actions.
What didn't happen was an immediate call for "common sense" legislation to prevent further tragedies. "For God's sake there were children in those theaters!"
There was no call for licensing and background checks for the ability to speak/yell. No capacity restriction... We are still allowed to speak at decibel volumes over a whisper. We can still cup our hands around our mouths to better project our voices... "Bump speaking" There is no ban on tape recorders... "fully automatic voice projection instruments" No call for confiscation or voluntary surrender of vocal cords.
It seems ridiculous When you compare the two. But people have indeed been killed by someone using their voice to incite panic... And multiple people died as a result.
We punished people who abused an otherwise normal activity. We didn't punish everyone who choose to use their voices in a lawful, responsible manner.

Funny... I just got a petition in my email to end gun free zones. The Idea of taking a few losses with guns is idiotic. When is the last time you have heard of a bill in favor for guns? Think Tug-O-War, once you start losing you are almost guaranteed to lose.WE as sportsmen and 2nd amendment supporters need to start pushing back, and hard or else we will lose this right which we need/love.
Also Gun free zones in a country full of guns is just idiotic I wonder if the people who put that in place actually ever thought it out(it was probably to hard on their brains). Any person that owns a gun can come onto campus and start doing evil deed, with little fear of consequence until well after the deed has been done.
Life is hard; but it is harder if you are stupid.

I don't have a problem with the proposal... As long as we raise the age to exercise all of our other constitutional rights too.
21 to vote!!! Wonder how that will go over?
Mike 21 to serve your country also? How would that go over? It will be a shame if they allow an 18yr old to go into combat and risk his life but tell him he can’t purchase a firearm. I really disagree with Trump on this one, he should not have budged on any gun policies. I don’t think it will help his case when it comes to re- election.

Can you imagine the outrage on both sides if they decided to raise the voting age? But if it concerns a right to an activity that others don't participate in... Chop it up. Mike

Again, who or what do you'll think is footing the bill for all these protests? George Soros is footing the bill on most everything this high level on the libs side, he is one of the evilest men on the planet and may even be the Devil himself in the flesh. I do not advocate for any compromise at all in our gun rights and I sure as heck won't give up any of my guns regardless of any laws or EO period.

The morons are the ones who expect someone else to protect their rights. How about setting up a go fund me account to cover your costs and lost income. On second thought............
