I wanted to watch the CNN Town Hall meeting the network had tonite. I pretty much Knew better but I was hoping that there could be some very good pros and cons presented that would possibly be a start to solving our problem here in the USA of the violence we as a nation have to endure. All I saw was a pep rally put on by CNN using people that are hurt and emotionally distraught after the shootings in Florida to gang up on the 2nd amendment. CNN should be ashamed of themselves. Hitler did the same thing using kids to promote his plan for mass evil. CNN is doing it to promote the liberal agenda. I feel they don't want to try to solve any problems we have. I am glad the supporters of the 2nd amendment don't act like that. Very childish. I am sure for every person who is hurting due to a violent crime that has happened, there could be a person who was spared being on the receiving end of a violent act because they they or somebody else had a firearm and used it to protect themselves. Should we as supporters of the 2nd amendment have huge rallies, have a conservative network counter with a town hall of their own with an audience of 2nd amendment supporters? I always told my son as he was growing up "if it's important now, it will still be important in a few days or after a little time goes by to discuss an issue" not right then and there when you are worked up or mad about something. I kinda did get a chuckle from some of the comments. Seems the kids there think being 13, 14, 15 or so years old is old enough to rule and change the world..... but 18 is not old enough to by a gun. Go figure. If any comments, please be civil! Thanks!

Guess I still haven't learned my lesson in my old age. I go to that network every now and then just to see if their still bashing our President. Seems like it's all they do.

The dishonesty throughout all of our "main st." media is appalling.

I would maybe save a CNN or MSNBC person from drowning then leave they lay. As far as I'm concerned, they are a waste of x number cubic feet of space...

What I see is a bunch of youngsters that will be voting age in about 4 or 5 years. These youngsters will have a big impact on other schools and kids their own age. Anybody that thinks that these kids won't have an impact on voting things and people into office that will help their cause, just isn't thinking straight. Things will change and it may not fit all our agendas the way we would like. To many kids being traumatized these days by freaks.

Lots will be voting in 2020, some in the 2018 mid terms.

I am optimistic about our future. I see a lot of articulate and intelligent kids who are going to have the courage to change things previous generations haven't.

Some will graduate, go out and have some real world experiences, mature

I'm all for it. Must be 21 to purchase a gun. While we're at it go ahead and up the legal age to drive to 21. Since now we are all about saving lives, and we all know vehicles kill more than guns. I mean the legal age to drink is 21 now, and since no one under 21 has ever drank before, all these laws should work flawlessly. Go ahead and pass a law that you must be 21 to have sex also. That'll solve the issue of teenage pregnancy. And if 18 year old's don't have the mental capacity to own a firearm, how can they operate a vehicle and raise a child. I figure, if you lack the mental ability to refrain from eating laundry detergent, there's a whole bunch of freedoms you should be without.
