So today I finally found a great spot for mink. I'm pretty confident I will be able to catch one in the next few days. I will be getting it tanned and put on the wall. My question is how will the fur be? I know they won't be prime, but do mink rub or loose lots of fur ?

Late mink are more likely to be faded,or have some singe. It will look alright for a wall hang.

What Boco said. Even here, after January, they are going down hill.

Made it almost 3 years without censor!

not sure about the snow lasting where you are from but from what i see if the snow has been on for a couple months will seem to cause more issues then mink caught late where was little to no snow. just my observations.

Mink where we are are usually good til the end. I had two this week and they're still real strong yet. If you're in that river piece still you'll get a couple
