My mother and step-father raised 5 kids, my mother believed in the out of sight out of mind idea and my step-father was always working 16 hours a day to provide the life my mother wanted. If we had a question my mother would just say sit down and shut up. My step-father was an awesome guy, when he was home he taught me a lot, I learned how to do electrical work, some woodworking (little things), tile work, drywall work, general home repairs etc but he had to work to feed, cloth, educate, and give us a decent life. Sometimes it wasn't enough, if the overtime was cut off it got real hard real fast, churches delivered food to us at times, we got bags of clothes from strangers sometimes, church members would hand my mother a little wad of cash on the low so as to not cause embarrassment for us, people were kind to us and I always remembered and respected that my whole life.

My mother, on the other hand, didn't seem to respect those gifts because she always bought cigarettes and top quality food for herself while making 5 kids eat the cheapest foods she could find, drink powdered milk and puffed rice/wheat cereals, tons and tons of pinto beans (so much that to this day I will not buy them or eat them) and she would sit down in front of us and pour whole milk onto her lucky charms cereal and chow down two bowls and never think twice about it. Of the 5 kids, 3 of them turned out to be deadbeat adults, 2 of which have warrants out for their financial behaviors and none of them to this day have a pot to pee in, the 4th is my step-sister who lives in Florida and is pretty self-reliant and lives a decent life and then there is me LOL, the one kid my mother thought would turn out to be the evil serial killer, who loved guns from an early age and always wanted to join the Army to serve and protect my country. I have a wife and two kids, a home (I bought when I was single), 2 cars and I hold a job and put food on my table (nothing but whole milk and quality food here!)to give my family the life I always wanted, my wife and I are very active daily in our kids lives and I enjoy teaching my son as much as I can but I tell him often (even though he is only 3.5) that I have to be a father first, sometimes it hurts me just as much to punish him but if I don't then I am not being a good father. I will not let myself fall to the ways of apathy just to get the things I want, I will not let others raise my kids with their ideals, I will Love my kids first, teach them, discipline them as needed and I believe God will help me with the rest!

All are school district an bigger town close by are shut today again, thousands out school because shooting threats I see on news,when they or if catch. It out mandatory prison time for such stuff, we supposed have biggest county community district in Iowa for school, I live close by, I thinking there got be undercovefs around an law enforcement on high alert

Many of these imbeciles don't have a clue as to the consequences of their actions. They aren't thinking about that part. They see something that impresses them and they act on it. A guy on the radio was telling about 3 boys in his community who watched a movie where 3 guys beat another kid almost to death. They thought it would be cool to see what it would be like to do the same. So, they found a nerdy kid from school and the three of them put him in intensive care. They all ended up in prison. That's the part the media brushes over.

I say go back in a few years and interview some of these morons and ask them how much fun it is to know you will spend the rest of your life behind these walls? If they are getting death, make it a televised execution. Show these people whose body goes into gear before their brain does what happens when they do stupid things.

Yes, shoot the parents on the spot. Get m jaybird. We gotta desperate the kids from parents. It takes a village.

My boy just texted. Cops are piling into his high school mow. Not sure what's going on. I'm waiting on him to call me.

The law needs changed. This idea that somehow government can take care of people is just not true. There is no end to it. There will always be lazy people, crazy people, and criminals. Bad things are going to happen to good people. Lock up thieves murderers and rapists. Protect society from them as best we can. Leave everyone else to live their own life as they see fit. All this social engineering is creating more problems which brings more social engineering. Time to quit. Social workers are worse parasites than welfare queens.

All is good. Kid posted school shooting threats on facebook. My boy said he doesn't think they found a gun on him. But they got the kid.

damian worez is the kids name my boy said. Cole left school and just pulled in to the house.

They did get the kid. The kid posted information on Facebook talking of a shooting. Not sure of the details. The administration was told about the kid and his post. They went looking for him and couldn't find him where he was supposed to be. All he'll broke loose. My boy said a friend of his saw him in the bathroom earlier and thought even then he was hiding.
The kid was found and was still at the school when my boy got in his truck and came home.

Said he had knots in his guts. It was time to go home.

Sounds like a kid that needs to spend a year or so in jail. Those are terroristic threats, punishable offenses.

That's why they need see there will be consequences to all of this. The media needs to make it very clear and they have the power to do just that.

I'm still not positive on the details. The school called and said everything is good now. Sooo.

My boy knows the kid. We talked and he said the kid might fit the profile everyone might have of someone that might do this. Kids might pick on him because of it. But he also said they have 20 others like him. Its just hard to tell.

I don't know the exact threat yet.

There has been a threat at the school district where my wife and I work at , plus last week they arrested a duty aid at my wife's elementary school where she works at for having child porn and selling it.

This is what I've been harping on for a while now...

He got on facebook and made a threat which caused a disturbance... And they got HIM for it.

They didn't ban facebook or restrict people's access to it...

They busted the kid who abused it.

It's amazing how we apply common sense to all of our other rights. But we try to take away 2A rights from everyone when someone abuses it.
