Depends on the size of the target! If the target is the side of a barn then yes every time. If man sized at twenty yards then no.

Everyone want to add something, I look at it, anyone could hit a side of a barn that is 40 ft. high and 90 ft. long, now that is a stupid answer.

I know some that can, and some that can't. Painting with a broad brush to say yes or no.

All cops? No, of course not. Kinda silly.

Should they be able to? Yes.

No. I have seen our local LEOs shoot in a 'relaxed' target competition. Local PD, Sherriff's Deputies, and State Patrol officers were all present. Their performance was abysmal, to say the least.

While qualifying for my CCW permit, the local Chief of Police, who conducted the class, commented that he "wished his officers could shoot that well".


I have the utmost respect and praise for law enforcement cfficers, but they need better marksmanship training and PRACTICE.
