Haven't saw one of those yet. Thought I heard a Killdeer the other day. Just one call and I stopped to see if I could here it again. It definitely would be early for them. Did see a Turkey vulture 2 days ago. They don't make a typical spring bird call and aren't much to look at but they are a sign of spring.

Been seeing some blue herons and a few Robbins been around. guess that fat little groundhog got it wrong again.

Been seeing a few robins, redwings, grackles and sandhills here in SE Wisconsin for the last week. Pairs of geese are moving back in and started to claim territories. Had a redwing at the feeders off and on most of the winter.

South central Wi. Seen a pair of Sandhills and a few starlings looking for nesting spots but that's it.
