AJE OP trapper A Joined: Jan 2016 Posts: 10,099 WI - Wisconsin	It's been a heat wave here. Water levels are on the rise (snow melt). Do some of you notice furbearer activity picks up or decreases when water level rises a bit? Last edited by AJE; 03/02/18 12:47 AM.

Hutchy trapper H Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 7,978 On Georgian Bay, Ontario Canad...	We have rivers that can rise five feet in good hard runoff season. A couple of those rivers have lots of active beaver houses. I often wonder what the beaver do when water floods them out. Bank holes I would imagine, but one particular river the water often is at ground level in spring. And always good beaver there in fall.
