Pulled up to a slough this morning to check a few beaver sets. Could see I had a beaver in a 330 set under a log with a some lure smeared on the log above the trap. Wade out and pull the trap up and I forgot to flip one safety off the spring. I would say it was a 2 year old guessing by body size.

Trap got him right behind the head and trap was still on the stabilizer even with just one spring firing.

I used to remove one spring on my 220,s when I longlined coon Save time and aching hands. Yup they still stole them.
