I stopped by Dunham's sports today. I ask if they still sell ammo to anyone under 21 and the man behind the counter said yes, there store policy had not changed. He said he had gone to Wal-Mart to buy some shot gun shell and they would not sell them to him, he was only 20. He was waiting for a back ground check on customer who just bought a weapon of some kind. You know where I am going to by my ammo from know on!

Dunham's has a very pro-gun corporate policy from what I have read and seen!

Got one of their stores 2 mile from my house. When deer season is closing in their prices cant be beat on guns and ammo. On black Friday they had savage axis rifles for 299 plus a 100 dollar rebate. Brand new 270 axis with 3 x 9 weaver scope for 199 bucks !!!!!!!!
Got the rebate in about 4 weeks.

Very pro-gun safe too. I picked up a dandy 48 gun model just this morning! Unfortunately the Bride and I got it for photos and important papers, not to store guns.

Too bad Dick's Sporting Goods isn't as good as Dunham's in this regard. I think Dick's would rather sell golf balls.

I don't see how Dick's policy can stand up to a legal challenge. It's age discrimination plain and simple. If laws are changed in the near future to make the legal age 21 nothing will come of it, but if current law stands unchanged, I think we will see a challenge.
