I only got one answer via a pm and that trapper member was dead on about these calls. They are in a league of their own. Hands down!!!

I have a Ron Clouse slate call that I thought was the best there ever was, bought it back in 2000.
I now have a box call built by our Trapperman member Swift for Me which is made out of a bunch of old wood from France and the voice of an Angel. It is dangerous to be in the woods without backup using this call. The little woman bought it for me last year for Christmas and had it shipped clear from France. Even a clutz like me makes turkey calling easy with this baby.

I used the Hooks Executioner I and II last year. They are really nice calls that can do just about everything. They cutt very well.

Still, I prefer a Legacy Evolution 2.5 reed. Just flat out pure turkey like nothing else I've ever used

Nowadays it just don't pay to be a good 'ol boy.

Executioner 1&2 and the triple reed cutter, I got 2 of the Executioner 2 call. I have an old and I mean old Lynch box call I got from one of my great uncles. It has to go with me when I go turkey hunting. I bought a Preston Pittman pot call last year that has an aluminum surface. Sounds pretty good as do several others I have had for years.
