It'd be interesting to know how often a mink catches a muskrat.

In prime muskrat habitat muskrats are surprisingly difficult for a mink to catch. Its in marginal habitat and during bad weather conditions when the mink has the advantage. So small streams with shallow water, during droughts, and during floods when the muskrat's den is flooded, forcing it to take refuge in bushes and tall grass.
