Nice work.
I like the tripod setup.
Do you scan with the light on the gun? Or do you use a headlamp to scan?

Ray, that is some good shooting there. What kind of tripod and mount are you using?

Haha thanks everybody! If you haven't tried it yet I suggest you find some coyotes and try to kill'em it can be allot of fun! These coyotes were shot on an outfitters leased deer properties to try and control some predators so prime pelts were of no concern on my part, Although I would say atleast 4 of them had great hides on them as of yet and one of them was terribly mangy For the guys who had questions on my tripod / light setup and ect heres what I'm running The tri-pod is a Nightstalker edition with a pig saddle clamp on top Night stalker tri-pod (check it out) As far as my scope and scanning to locate these coyotes I have recently switched to NightVision & Thermal gear.. I haven't really seen an increase in coyotes committing to the call although I never did try and over hunt my properties when I was running lights, As I believe a coyote will become educated very fast if he has been shot at while their is a red beam shining around! What I have noticed is less people interrupting my setups under the assumption that I am spotlighting deer! And you also asked If I used to scan with a headlamp or my kill light on thee rifle & I mainly scanned with my head lamp and kept a slight beam of light on them as I transitioned to my rifle and then dropped the main beam of light onto them as I readied for the shot! As always any coyote that comes into the field and leaves alive is now smarter then he was, Make your shots count
