Yukon Trappers Association, started a marketing campaign this year called "Unfurled". They have done a great job, and it shows what can be done if the right people put their heads together. It also makes you wonder what NAFA and FHA are doing wrong, because they are without a doubt doing something wrong. Their marketing simply isn't working no matter how much they tell us otherwise. Im sure you can get more information via Google but I copied the following from a CBC piece on FB.

Support for the territory's fur industry was "Unfurled" this weekend. More than a thousand Yukoners toured exhibits and marketplace at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre Saturday. Organizers say in just 7 hours more than $60,000 of fur pelts and products were sold. All proceeds going directly to trappers and artisans.

Keep in mind there are only about 30,000 people in the Territory, and this isn't exactly tourist season. 60K in 7-hours locally is pretty impressive.
