no experience , it could be they have a 1:9 twist

I think this is where you point out just how dumb the NY safe act is and say that the AUG is a "safe" compliant gun

Have a neighbor, who has one. He did let me shoot a couple of boxes through it one afternoon. Was easy to handle and fairly accurate. Long range, maybe not so good, but under 300 yards or in close areas might just be the ticket. Be up to you on how good a coyote rifle it would be.

Dude , I was merely pointing out the Irony that an AUG that is shorter ready to fire than a AR is with a fully collapsed stock and a 2 inch shorter barrel

yup it makes all sorts of sense.(thick sarcasm)

I am not judging you , NY state politicians very much so .

but what do I know I am just some long bearded Midwestern redneck who helped his son build his own Ar for his 13th birthday, I mean it seemed fitting he bought his shotgun when he was 10 , his 22 rifle when he was 11 and has been a Action pistol competitor since he turned 12.

I am actually very happy for you NYers that they left you some tools even if it was only by their oversight of gunnism , I picture a couple of yorkers in tweed coats looking at images of guns and saying " Why George I think that one is light enough colored that we need-ent ban it , look no evil bayonet lug or collapsible stock" said with a snooty rich dude accent.

by the way the Tavor only seems to like heavy bullets at least in factory loads , I shoot with a guy who bought one real cool but seems to like 77 gr bullets it is a fast twist 1:7 with an 18 inch barrel , it apparently spins 55gr stuff to hard to hold a decent group
