I have been thinking of picking up another .380 and was looking at the glock 42. I would like to hear reviews from anyone on hear that has experience with the gun. Thoughts on carrying it in the summer months? Thanks for your input.

I have one and love it. Very easy to conceal. Zero problems with mine.

I'm itchin' to see a coyote twitchin'.

More trappin' and less yappin'.

Got one for the wife and it is AWESOME.

Liked it so much I got the 43 for me (9mm) and use it as my every day gun. Have Taran Tactical plus 2 extended base pads for belt use and kept 1 magazine with a regular baseplate for ankle holster use. With the plus 2 I have 9 in the gun and 8 more in a spare magazine.

I'm running a Trijicon RMR sight on mine as my eyes are to the point I cant focus on the front sight like I need to for accurate shots.

One caution. There are minor differences in the 42 and 43 that will keep you from using the same holster for each. Not like the other Glocks in that respect.

I like a leather holster as the plastic ones makes you sweat in the summer! Love my G42 I run Powerball ammo in it just like the round nose tip for positive cycling. (Powerball ammo is a HP tip that has a poly ball in the HP so it's a HP that functions like a FMJ bullet when it cycles.)

Don't know never shot a S/W BG but when I qualified last year I shot the same score with the g42 as I did with the P220 Sig so I don't think the trigger is a issue!

Love mine, bought it after my jamming Nano. The Glock 42 has great testing reviews.

Like them very well except the slide button is really stiff.

Love mine and I’m not a Glock guy. Put a set of Trijicon HD XR night sights on it and added plus 2’s to the mags. Don’t even know it’s riding on the belt. Would I prefer a 9mm, probably, but stoked with 9 rounds of premium SD ammo, I feel more than adequate for the job at hand. It also carries easily with standard mag in a pocket holster.
