Bird poop don't fly fast enough that it took 3 attemps to get tracking sensors to lock on to it and film it, to get it he sent sensor out in front of it and then it locked on

Does a drone (civilian or military) put off a heat signature at the rear? If it was a rocket or aircraft there would be a heat signature but it doesn't.
