just put a big chunk of pork loin and a bag of little smokies in the crockpot then smothered them in homemade saurkraut.smells goooood.

when i was emptying minnow traps this morning there was between 60-70 in the spring run's that feed the pond.looking good for this spring here.

What's left of last nights brisket... would've posted a resting pic but didn't know about the show and tell thread.. I will be eating brisket sandwiches this afternoon and probably the next day or two.
Didn't come out with the smoke ring I expected but still tasty!

Oh it is good! I have two more to smoke here yet. Was waiting for warmer temps but...I can always get another brisket.
I really wanna do some plate ribs.

Wylee-no peppers and onions and that sounds good, but I did cook em up with minced garlic and black pepper. One thing I like about other trappers is they always give you better ideas for next time smile

Amazing what just garlic and pepper can add. Most rib eye I BBQ with just sea salt pepper and garlic. Some just pepper. I also started resting steak with a slice of butter on top.
Wife has a Worcestershire marinade she uses on venison and other game that is superb. We used it on some beaver back strap that turned out stellar.
I'm hoping to get a moose this year and playing with the smoke and some marinade BBQ.

Got out the last of this winters king crab the other day. King crab fettuccini. Easy and good.
