Many times I've put them in the fridge after fleshing. I board them the next day. I personally wouldn't leave them out with this warmer weather. Either way you decide, be sure none of the flesh is open to the air to prevent dry spots

Put them on a freezer if you have a chest freezer. I put scraped fur on the top of my freezers all the time. It will keep them chilled. Sometimes you may get a little dampness but not to bad. Just fold the in half one time.

Some place cool for a few days doesnt hurt. I put mine on the floor at the bottom of my garage door. Keeps them cold when it is cold out anyway.

If the beaver were fresh when skinned I figure they're good for a week in the rerigerator if the fur is dry, a little less if fur is wet. Tens in the fridge need to be found 34-35F

Yup, I use the refrigerator all the time for this.

Guys It's just over night.

Just roll them up and throw something over them so they don't dry out.

after about a week and a half, a rolled up beaver gets a funky smell. Two and the fur can slip around the edges. A friend told me...lol

Hutchy It's only over night. LOL

It's the way I do large amounts of any fur.
WE would flesh 20 or 30 beaver a day then cover them that night and then board the next day. Same with coon and rats. and just about anything else.
Once the hide Is off the carcass you have a few days to deal with It. And we "NEVER" skinned a fresh caught beaver the same day. Two days was about right to keep them from bleeding all over you.
