A guy has to sit and learn about some "boring" stuff in the classroom. A lot of it is theory and gets a little tedious...

Soak it up. As much as you can learn.

Learning the principles of how electricity works and behaves is key to troubleshooting.

Learn and understand all you can. More skills mean more money.
