Yes vegas is in controll and its only going to get worse. Was planning on moving to Idaho for retirement but afraid the California invaders will have ruined it by then. Same here , Idaho is the fastest growing state right now and I'm hearing stories of the ill effects

The way I see it, is that there is no stopping it now. Without a revolution anyway. The rot is to deep now. Just thinking about which state would be a better place to live says a lot....they are all turning into another CA. at a rapid rate. My own view is that they are putting something in the water. The special election in PA is a great example. After everything Trump has done to help those people they turned around and voted for a Democrat. Some of those I saw interviewed said they wanted "change". I couldnt help but think they dont like lower taxes and better jobs. Some said they voted Democrat because the guy was a local and a veteran.....Because of whatever is in the water nowadays they dont have the brains to realize that, that democrat they just voted in, is going to go to Washington and vote right along party lines and will do nothing to help the POTUS that has done so much for the country. Concur.

We compromised with trapping, how has that worked out? The issue of killing is from the heart, not from the tool used to perform the act. Compromise on guns will end up just like with trapping. Over-regulated or outright banned!

Marty, one would have to be deaf if he cannot hear the voice of the outraged parents and students demanding that something be done-And Politicians certainly aren't deaf to what may hurt them. One thing that we all must consider- we all know that the anti-gun folks know that POLITICIANS WILL LISTEN if they see a threat to their elections. Some politicians may be a friend of gun owners because they believe it helps them get elected. But the other side of the coin is that they may see an association with the NRA as a negative to their campaign. Few of our election officials will say they are absolutely against any changes in gun laws if their head is on the chopping block. Would anyone favor a tax hike to cover the costs of increased metal health services for all who need it?

I am of the grid as it is, got food and water for a long time and can raise the anchor and move my " house" to any place that has a couple of feet of water. ( quite looking forward to the ice caps melting as then I could visit the kids in PA and take my house with me.

Same thing happened here Grandpa Trapper. Our property prices were low and our property taxes were low which drew a bunch from Lancaster county that were fleeing the creep of the east coast. Now our property taxes are sky-high because they forgot why they moved here and brought their "wants" with them. Now ya can't even buy straight up and down mountain ground for what we use to pay for good flat ground. When a farm gets sold, you don't even have to ask where the people are from anymore because it's always east of here.
