My last stroke is one on the non-beveled side to take the burr off (not sure if the sharpening God's approve of this but it works for me).

newfox1 OP trapper N Joined: Mar 2016 Posts: 3,662 lewis county,new york	hav'nt needed to sharpen it yet,but when I talked to mr. post he recommended a diamond sharpener, I think he said 1200 grit.anything more course and you will be putting scrathes in the blade.
