Does anyone have a Beretta Minx or Bobcat .22 short? And how do you like it.
Also what is there value? I'm interested in getting one of the two for coyote trapping.
Thank you

A buddy of mine has the minx, it works great. I've been trying to talk him out of it for some time now. lol

Last I knew they were in the $250 range used...

I have a bobcat. Works great, doesn't jam. Can't hit anything smaller than a Volkswagen with it though. It cost over $300.

After looking on-line it looks like you would be doing good to get a used one for $300. You may consider a Phoenix Arms .22lr, similar design but a lot cheaper. They're LR vs Short though. frown

I honestly don't know Ron. I have a buddy that has one but I don't think he's tried the subsonic rounds in it.

Taurus makes one almost identical to the Beretta https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/2084_21_50_495/products_id/83893/Taurus+22BSYN+PT22+8%2B1+22LR+2.75

they were about 225 last time I saw one in a shop

I was at a local store buying powder or something a few years ago. Look up to see my bride filling out paperwork for a handgun. Told me it was cute. Will only cycle with LR but has the tip up barrel. Price is reasonable. Had hers at least ten years probably more. Fits in a pocket real easy. Water trapping I put it in a baggy and stick it in the chest pouch on my waders.

in a 3-6 inch barrel most everything is a sub sonic round not necessarily quiet

CCI quiets do not cycle any semi auto 22lr pistol I have found yet. they are not nearly as quet as a long barrel but hurt the ears less

ADC, my bobcat is a 22lr. It does not cycle subsonic Rem rounds. Actually I don't use the Beretta for trapping any more. I went to the Phoenix arms you mentioned with 5 inch barrel. It is a light, totally cheap piece of junk compared to the Beretta. And it can out-shoot it 10 to 1 accuracy wise.
