Nice trip! My cousin Jim is a guide at Rainy pass lodge! Small world there. Did Bucky show you his museum? Jim tells stories of the Iditarod and Iron Dog going through their area every time I see him.

Well I will double post this. During our trip we played leap frog with another party of three from Willow to Anvik. They went on to travel up the Yukon to Kaltag to Nome. Then back and on to Nenana. We have kept in touch and he shared his gps route for the entire Trip.
I have taken a few hours of my time to edit thousands of waypoints on the route deleting the backtracks, town stays, lost trail excursions etc. That was fun to do as I was aware of many along the trail and kind of relived some of the setbacks along the trail. ;0)
If anyone would like to have this track to load into their gps or google earth etc Contact me via a pm supplying me with your email. I will then email you the track and Kevins contact info so that you can give him a big thankyou. What I wouldn't have given for such a track on my trip. You could literally make the trip step by step doing nothing more than following your gps route using this. Too good of an asset not to put out there to share. I have done so with his permission.
He also put a number of interesting waypoints such as shelter cabins etc
It loads right up in Garmin Base Camp or In Google earth you can choose to open it as well and see the route via google earth. Technology these days is really something.

PM me with your email address if interested.
