Hobbs OP trapper H Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 302 Wyoming	Hi All, Quick question from a newbie. Are there ideal designs for split board stretchers for different critters? I build a few and had a heck of a time getting a Fox on the one that I built. I realize that I made it a bit too wide, just curious if there is some designs out there that I don't know about. The book I bought focused mostly on wire stretchers and solid board. Thanks for the help. It's a trappers life for me

RKH trapper Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 530 southwest Alberta .Canada	I used Ryan's board pattern for a few years which has a more bottleneck appearance .. then switched over to NAFA pattern which gave me a more uniform pelt and fuller neck which I liked more ..my 2cents Last edited by RKH; 03/31/18 09:33 AM.
