Everyone knows bbq is big in Texas but this is whole nother level. This isn’t a Restaurant or any bbq place, it’s at a church lol!! 74 ft long with dual fireboxes on each side, they built the building around it. Crazy. It takes about a 1/4 cord of wood just to get it going and up to temperature. Some serious smokin there.

The cook and cook's helpers are gonna need several fans blowing in there when that gets going.

He said it’s almost unbearable when it’s going full throttle to heat it up, they have those big sliding doors and windows and fans and stufff too, they had a plastic clock that they saved up on the wall that was all melted from one time lol crazy

Being that long how are they getting enough heat to the other end?

And it would be super hot on fire end. Seems to me to be a pain to regulate Temperature?

I wondered too, until I saw both ends have fireboxes

Maybe I am wrong but even having a fire box on each end would still be hard to manage temperatures. I would think a unattached fire box outside and pipe in the heat and smoke evenly would be better overall and easier to run.

I am not critizing as it's impressive

Yah it has a firebox on each end, just keep adding wood I guess, burning 6-10” thick pieces, 16-20” in long

He said the nickname is “ big sexy” lol
