I went out there this morning, the temperature had dropped more than 40° and the wind was howling plus spitting snow, sleet and rain. They were not happy… Eh...wot?

I went into the coop to dust and clean up a bit yesterday and for some reason I couldn't get their country western station on their chicken radio, so I had to pick an oldies station with good reception. It was kind of weird to see the girls doing the hustle. They seemed to be enjoying that. Disturbing and unnatural. I hope they don't quit laying now! WTA District 9 Director ... Go D9! The shape is different also- typical tear drop shape of the Wyandotte. Straight back vs no back outline at all- as they stand in show stance- not in the yard playing or relaxing at roost The colours are similar to many other breeds and are just type patterns- not meaning to be an ID of breed in itself. http://www.illustrationsinmotion.com/index.html
