No, they shoot good out of my 17 rem and I know how hard they will be to replace. I don't want to end up wishing I had some.

You could walk thru the middle of town with a gun and nobody said anything except “good luck”
I remember buying bulk 4831 at Kmart in Miles city for .69 a pound. You took it home in paper bag.

Moved my reloading bench to a new room last month and found

Boxes of 55 gr hp 223 Blackhills boxes of 50 for $8.12
5 1lbs cans of BLC 2 Hogdons powder $1.75 each
bricks of 22.s Sidewinders $7.99
a 3 pound can each of Alcan 5 and 7 $8.00
A pound of Unique $2.95
Federal primers $9.99 a 1000
RCBS 3 die sets for $12

I got to get rid of this stuff. It makes it hard to buy at todays prices. Although I did buy 22's for 39.99 for 1100 the other day

I also found lots of other stuff I have not see in years. That was nice.

Does anyone know where my 357 dies are? still not found them.

I collect old ammo boxes. I have a full box of Sears Roebuck Long Rifle with price sticker on it of 22 cents and a full Sears box of .410 marked 57 cents. I have a box containing one only of SISK Super Lovell .22 41gr bullets marked $2.50.

I used to shoot them in a 22.250, and they shot good. Probably in the mid 80s they disappeared from the shelves.
Unless recently, I don't think they ever came back.

Nah going to stuff them in a smoke pole Saturday , I am going to play around with grits as a buffer between the powder and projectile for greater accuracy

if I drilled holes in them they probably would make decent weights , .7 ounce
