Ok this has always stumped me and hoping the gentleman or ladies on here can help with this.
What is the proper placement of a man in a parking lot who is walking with his wife, or girlfriend? I know on sidewalks the gentleman ALWAYS walks next to the street in case of a vehicle jumping the curb.
With that being said, is the gentleman supposed to walk next to the closest parked vehicles in case they start leaving the spot or in "the road" of the parking or do you walk in front of her?

You miss the issue entirely. The gentleman drops the lady at the door and parks the car. Later, the gent suggests that the lady wait while he gets the car and picks her up at the door.
Same procedure for both wife and girlfriend, although never at the same time.
Best wishes.

about the side walk the gentleman walked on the outside because of people above pitching their chamber pot content into the street.
enough with all that balony , this is a modern world a woman walks on mans weak hand side so he can draw should there be trouble.
every culture is different however , in Arab countries a Wife used to walk 3 paces behind her husband , now he walks 10 behind her so that when she steps on a land mine he has a chance of survival after all his other wives and children will need him and her kids can be cared for by his other wives , but should he die they will all be up a sewage creek sans paddle.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Nonsense, just park the car. Walk her in.
If she has any problems. Leave her at the door.
Go home, have a beer.
If she calls you back.
Take her to McDonalds.
Really!
Just be your self, respect each other. Go from there.

Historically the ladies walked on the gent's non weapon hand; you can not provide protection if your sword is caught up in her bustle. Doesn't matter where you walk, if the lady is the weapons carrier. Few things worse than getting your sword caught in a woman's bustle. I just hate when that happens. Probably why I'm not seen too often in civilization with a woman. Osky

The gentleman drops the lady at the door and parks the car. Later, the gent suggests that the lady wait while he gets the car and picks her up If ^^^^ that doesn't happen then the man walks tween her and the most dangerous area.....where vehicles are travelling fastest...which is the lane tween the rows of cars.......... They are not going very fast coming out of parking spot.

If you really are a Gentleman and Lady you will have the driver drop you both at the door and pick you up afterwards.

How do you handle it , when you have a Woman who says when you try to hold the Door open for them " OH, NO!!! I DON'T NEED ANY MAN TO HOLD A DOOR OPEN FOR ME !! I CAN GET THE DOOR ALL BY MYSELF, THANK YOU, VERY MUCH!!" ( She says 'THANK YOU , VERY MUCH!!" , like a King Cobra spewing venom!! ) I look them in the ye, smile, and say, "I'm not holding it for you ma'am, I'm holding to honor the memory of my late father who taught me to always be a gentleman, no matter how un lady-like the woman".
