I used to believe in aliens... Not anymore.
I think it's just us alone in the universe.

To and ant, our world must seem unimaginably large. What if we are like that ant to some alien life form? Or what if our planets are like atoms that make up an ant.......or the aspirin that Osky needs....

The forum on creation vs evolution got me thinking about alien life. Who thinks aliens exist? I do. It’s unfathomable to me that we are the only intelligent life form in a universe that has no end. The thought that if you could travel at the speed of light for an Infinite amount of time, and never get to the end is mind blowing. How can someone prove there is no end?

Remember father Guido Sarducci on Saturday night live? The skit where he was talking about "OOFOS" (UFOs, but he pronounced it "OOOOO-FOs") He kept describing this bright light off in distance, thought it must have been one of those OOOFOs that everyone was talking about, but then he said later when it went by it just looked a lot like a corvette. Sure, maybe God created life somewhere else. Maybe not. I believe in other dimensions, since I'm quite aware that things exist that are usually not visible to our eyes. But, as far as life on other planets, I'm doubtful.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

One thing I can't understand about these aliens is, If they have the knowledge, skills to travel from galaxy's so far away, light years even, why are their driving/flying skills so terrible they keep crashing while sight seeing here on this plaint? Don't make any since to me! Dennis

I think there are other beings, but I don't think they were created by God. I believe they are the work of satan. Naphilium, I believe are mentioned twice in the Bible. Been studying up on this for a while, interesting stuff it is.

By my observations over the decades, why do you assume our species is intelligent? Even an ally dog won't crap or whiz where it lives/eats/sleeps.

I suppose life exists elsewhere in our universe. If not it seems like a terrible waste of space.
What if life does exist elsewhere but we are the most advanced life form in the universe? That is a possibility as well.
What if our universe exists inside of something bigger and in the grand scheme of things our universe is very small? That would make us very insignificant.
I can keep going but I don't feel like having a mind melt.

I don't believe that aliens exist. I have doubts that we actually exist. I do not believe in time. When did it start? What time will it be when it ends? I do not believe in distance. How far is it when you reach half way to the end of the universe?
"Dubito, ergo non sum." (I doubt, therefore I am not.) There is a group of cosmologists--mainstream, not fringe--who credibly maintain that we and everything around us are really just holographic projections. Even your image of yourself is an artifice constructed by super-powerful aliens. Time began at the Big Bang that created our universe. Time in our universe will end at the end of our universe. Not inconsistent with the idea of an omnipotent God who is timeless and existed before our universe. Just because a distance is unknown does not mean that distance does not exist. Jim

Hurting my head here again James...
I was with another fellow in camp 5 years ago and we saw something that convinced us we are not alone. So be it.

Looking at it as a numbers game, With around 200 billion stars ( most with their own planets around them) In our little galaxy, and the milky way is down right puny compared to the grown ups and around 100 billion galaxies in the visible part of the universe, chances are pretty high that we are not alone or the most intelligent life form out there by a long shot.

Their ships could come out of warp speed and appear any day....heck, lots of people are 1/2 way to being part of the collective hive already. Simple chip implant in the brain and they are The Borg.

If you want to be convinced that alien life exists and has infiltrated our culture, just go to Walmart during a busy time and watch the “people”.
Best wishes.

Are you sure they are female, Marty? Lol Someone will need to do a thorough check and find out firsthand.
