The Trapper Magazine was published quarterly by S. Stanley Hawbaker from the first quarter in 1954 until the last quarter in 1958. This issue is dated January-February-March 1956, it was Volume 3 - Number 1, it contains 32 pages and is in good condition. The magazine was informative and interesting. Some of the articles in this issue are; Finding Natural Set Locations by Walter Chansler, The Galloping Ghost of Hoot-Owl Hill by Curtis Gasaway, Trapping Rats in the City by Robert Mottram, Pacific Northwest News by Royal Ehrlich, Fox, Mink and Muskrat by Kenneth Booth, How to Kill a Skunk by Roderick Prutsman and Fur Market Report by S. Stanley Hawbaker.

The Trapper magazine was published by S. Stanley Hawbaker from 1954 until 1958 it was published quarterly and this issue is dated July August September 1958, Volume 6-Number 3, it was the next to last issue published. The magazine is in nice condition, it does have one hole punched at the very top, I suppose a previous owner kept it in some sort of a notebook. Some of the articles in this issue are; The Raccoon by Leon Pray, Coonskin Capers by R. W. Zurga, Texas Varmint Trapping by Larry Boyd, Feeder Stream Sets by Ellis Shelton, Scents and Coon Sense by Ray Beck and Rat Trapping in Central Michigan by Tom Huggler. There was also a Fur Market Report by S. Stanley Hawbaker. $12.50 SHIPPED. Both for $22.00 shipped.



6 vintage issues of Voice of the Trapper, the official publication of the National Trappers Association. Today the publication is known as "American Trapper". The Voice of the Trapper was published quarterly and these issues are dated Spring (Volume 14-No.3) and Winter 1974 (Volume 14-No.2) and the full set for 1975, Volumes 15 numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 (1975). All issues are in nice condition the magazines measure approximately 6 1/4 inches by 9 1/4 inches. Gerald Walkup was president of the NTA at the time of publication of these issues. $12.50 SHIPPED.
