Not many sit down restaurants here where I live but after the hunts in WI we went to Denny's and Perkins what a rip for what you get for $10-$12. Paper thin bacon a 1/2 slice long you could read the paper through it, the rest was nothing to brag about either.
Makes a couple roller dogs at the truck stop seem like a meal! LOL

I haven't eaten at very many of those fancy places either. LOL But I can agree with you for 10 to 12 bucks a man would starve to death eating at places like that. LOL
Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

We have a few greasy spoon style restaurants nearby and for under $10 you’ll need a nap after eating. Not a fan of chain restaurants, but some really like Perkins breakfast. And after seeing Zim and Patrice’s food post, I’d be waiting on their doorstep with some fresh ground coffee.

Ice chest, chinette paper plates and a box of plastic cutlery, package of styrofoam drinking cups, percolator, big steel spatula, big steel spoon, small enamel blue pot, black skillet, coleman stove, and a pickup tailgate. Can make a gourmet jealous with that set up.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
